Frog

So, I don't know who needs to hear/read this. But as I was laying in bed last night trying to fall asleep. The acrostic FROG came to mind. My dad he used to pastor sometimes would use this in his teachings.

R. Rely

G. God
I've always like this as it helps remind me to look to Him in our good times and hard times. I don't always do this though honestly. I forget a lot to read my Bible and pray and Trust and Rely on Him for everything. As this kept going through my mind I wasn't sure why it kept coming to me. I wasn't sure if I should just write it down with some verses and hang somewhere, if I should maybe try my hand at writing a song using those 4 words. I tried YEARS ago to write songs, in fact I still have those songs tucked away in my room. I don't know why I never shared them maybe because I didn't think they sounded very good or maybe I didn't feel confident enough about them. Anyway back to my F.R.O.G. story, I decided this morning/afternoon to put those words into my bible gateway app search to see what came up, then I put in trust in and rely. A lot of scriptures came up actually.... Also, I feel like God put those 4 words on my mind to remind me and to write them down. Maybe 2024 needs to be about FULLY RELYING ON GOD no matter what comes our way. Happy New Year! God Bless you all this year.
Love you all!

2 Chronicles 14:11 NIV -
Then Asa called to the Lord his God and said; "There is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us Lord, our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. Lord, you are our God; do not let mere mortals prevail against you.
Psalm 59:17 NIV -
You are my strength, I sing praises to you; you, God are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.
Psalm 91:2 AMP -
I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, My God in whom I trust with great confidence, and on whom I rely!"
Psalm 112:7 AMP -
He will not fear bad news; His heart is steadfast, trusting [confidently relying and believing] in the Lord.
Proverbs 3:5&6 AMP -
5. Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with ALL your heart and do not rely on your own understanding. 6. In all your ways know and acknowledge Him; And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].
John 12:44‭-‬50 AMP -
But Jesus loudly declared, “The one who believes and trusts in Me does not believe [only] in Me but [also believes] in Him who sent Me. And whoever sees Me sees the One who sent Me. I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes and trusts in Me [as Savior—all those who anchor their hope in Me and rely on the truth of My message] will not continue to live in darkness. If anyone hears My words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but to save the world. Whoever rejects Me and refuses to accept My teachings, has one who judges him; the very word that I spoke will judge and condemn him on the last day. For I have never spoken on My own initiative or authority, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment regarding what to say and what to speak. I know that His commandment is eternal life. So the things I speak, I speak [in accordance with His exact instruction,] just as the Father has told Me.”
